SMS & Voice Consent — NurturedPet Care Reach

What is Care Reach?

Care Reach is NurturedPet's optional SMS and voice call feature that helps you stay on top of your pet's medication schedule. When enabled, you may receive:

Medication reminders when doses are due or overdue
Wellness check-in messages
Milestone celebrations (e.g., dose streaks, care anniversaries)
Voice phone calls for critical medication reminders

Care Reach is a premium feature of the NurturedPet iOS app. Messages are transactional and directly related to your pet's care — we never send marketing or promotional messages.

How You Opt In

SMS and voice communications are opt-in only. You will never receive messages unless you explicitly enable Care Reach within the NurturedPet app.

Opt-In Process

Open the NurturedPet app on your iPhone
Navigate to Settings → Notifications → Care Reach
Select your preferred notification intensity level (which includes Care Reach)
Enter and verify your mobile phone number
Confirm your consent to receive SMS and/or voice calls

By completing this process, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages and voice calls from NurturedPet at the phone number you provide. You may revoke this consent at any time.

Milestone	"Amazing! You've given Queen 30 days of consistent care. That dedication matters. 💜🐾 — NurturedPet"

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time using either method:

Reply STOP: Text STOP to +1 (855) 924-4340 at any time. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

In-App: Open NurturedPet → Settings → Notifications → disable Care Reach. This immediately stops all SMS and voice communications.

To resume messages after opting out, text START to +1 (855) 924-4340 or re-enable Care Reach in the app.

Privacy & Data Handling

Your phone number is stored locally on your device and transmitted to our server only when sending a message
Phone numbers are never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing
SMS delivery is powered by Twilio, which processes your phone number solely for message delivery
Message logs are retained for up to 30 days for delivery verification, then deleted
All communications are encrypted in transit via TLS/HTTPS
